Knots Between Your Shoulder Blades
If you are reading this, I know you are not a stranger to muscle knots. These knots can be particularly nasty when they form in the upper part of your back pain, especially between your shoulder blades. They may keep you up at night and ruin a perfectly good, relaxing day. So, what are they exactly?
There is something you should know about your muscles, if you don’t take care of them they can start complaining, A LOT. Regardless of what you are doing, watching TV in a bad posture, driving your car, sitting at your desk/PC, if you are doing it wrong (without taking care of your muscles) they will start “complaining” and you will end up with painful knots.
Depending of the time you spend ignoring the underlying problem of your muscle knots, they can get fairly large and you can even feel them under your skin. Needless to say, they can get pretty painful, since they represent a part of your muscle that has been under a lot of stress and finally decided he has had enough and formed a knot.
So, basically muscle knots are caused by muscles you kept in awkward positions for a long period of time. But, all is not lost, you can get rid of these painful knots and eliminate that nasty pain between your shoulder blades, just read on.
Figuring Out What`s Causing It If you don’t know the root of the problem, you probably won`t find the solution. So make an effort to get to the bottom of it. Let me give you a piece of advice – don`t try to solve this problem on your own, there are professional people, trained to deal with these sorts of problems; they are called doctors! If you start experiencing pain in your back, or the area between your shoulder blades, go see your doctor and get rid of the problems troubling you.
Strengthen Your Back Weak muscles will complain a lot more than powerful, strong ones; so, hit the gym Jack! If you are not a big fan of the gym, just like me, you can do some exercises with your bodyweight (my favorite are pull ups).
Be Aware Of Your Posture At All Times Minding your posture can singlehandedly take care of all your back problems, whether they are in the lower, middle, upper back or between your shoulder blades.
Being aware of your posture may not be an easy task, you can ask people you work with or member of your family to help you. Tell them to give you a warning, whenever they see you slouching and/or assuming a poor posture and correct it immediately. This will help you immensely.
